Named "Swallow"
Swallow has been all over touring and been Julie's daily driver since before time began. Bought used around 1992 from a guy who was a Gary Fisher rep in San Rafael. Frame has carbon fiber tubes bonded to Ti lugs, steel fork "Ned Overend 1990 World Champion" label on the top tube I put mid-fork rack mounts on the fork. The fork really needs paint now.
- Shimano triple crankset (with 1 ring)
- Shimano flat pedals with clips and straps, all older than many of my co-workers
- Surly stainless chainring 38T 1-30-2022
- SRAM PC850 chain 1-30-2022
- flat bars
- some kind of cheap generic black quill stem from Cambria I think
- Magura HS33 hydraulic rim brakes front and rear
- Koolstop HS33 brake pads salmon front black rear 1/30/2022
- Rohloff Speedhub 14 32 spoke
- Phil Wood front hub 32 spoke
- Sun Ringle rims
- Panracer RibMo ProTite tires 26x1.5 1/30/2022
- Michelin AirStop 559x40mm tubes 1/30/2022
- Terry Ti saddle
- Blackburn rear rack
- trunk bag
Oil change 1/30/2022
Adjusting the Magura brakes
It says to simply loosen the two torx bolts on one side, adjust the caliper, tighten.
Torque settings: 4Nm and 6Nm
Rohloff shifter box upgrade
I am trying to attach an external shifter set up. That internal one is sketchy.
I downloaded the manual again. I will put a copy here soon.
