The Neo Freerunner is not just a GPS receiver, it's a smartphone with a Ublox Antares 4 chipset built-in.

I have had one for about a month now and so far have been content to fix wiki pages at the Openmoko] site.

I have also tried the standard, ASU, and FSO images on it. I am about to install Debian on its SD card.

A few handy notes

From the GTA02 sysfs page

Show charge rate: cat /sys/devices/platform/s3c2440-i2c/i2c-adapter/i2c-0/0-0073/charger_type

Force charge rate: echo 500 > /sys/devices/platform/s3c2440-i2c/i2c-adapter/i2c-0/0-0073/force_usb_limit_dangerous
