The hardware

Dell Axim X50V running PocketPC 2003
1 GB SD card
Serial cable

Shortly after I bought it the X50V was superceded by the X51V and then Dell quit building PDA's entirely.

Then shortly after I upgraded the Axim to Windows Mobile 5, the X50V screen died, probably due to dirt getting trapped under its bezel.

I now have a very low opinion of Dell equipment.

GPS receivers

What I currently have available for testing

Emtac Bluetooth
Trimble Lassen SQ
Garmin GPS25LVC
Garmin eMap
