I am also interested in open source software.
If you share common interests with me, you are welcome to contribute to the site and create your own pages. I got tired of repairing spam every day on the ihpva.org wiki, so the www.wildsong.biz wiki does not allow anonymous users to create accounts. I just don't want to have to keep an eye on it. If you want an account, contact me and I will give you one.

So I decided to combine all of this and build this Wiki-based Web site.

You are welcome to contribute.

Today it's entirely wiki based. Tomorrow I will
probably go back to using [[http://www.drupal.org Drupal]] to manage the books and documentation and leave the wiki up for less formal interaction.

I invented the wildsong.biz domain name when I wanted to start an online bicycle business. That never happened. I used it for a while as a site for my consulting business, but that was not very interesting. I started using a wiki site while I was working at the [CSUMB] [Seafloor Mapping Lab] in 2002/2003 as a student assistant.

In the course of my day I move around from site to site, so I started keeping notes and links here; now the wiki is the entire site. I dumped the static pages into http://www.wildsong.biz/old/ and redirected all traffic to the wiki.
