Initial thoughts
Format is very dry; black text on white slides, no pictures. The subject is very dry so I was hoping for something that would keep me awake.
When explaining something on a diagram it would be good to point at it or highlight it. I can see the cursor on some slides -- even just pointing with the cursor would help.
More than 5 minutes is devoted to telling what Refractions does. This is a waste of time for me. Put it at the end so I can "leave the room."
Long pauses between sentences are irritating. Speaker warms up and starts talking more normally at about 9:50
Audio quality is poor, sound tinny. At 8:40 there is a clanging sound in the background like someone banging on a dumpster.
Around 119:00 lots of microphone noises. Scratchy sounds, "wind", breathing sounds. Again around 128 -- sounds like he's scratching or tapping the mic. Writing on a whiteboard?
SFSQL = "Simple features for SQL"
Comparisons with ArcSDE in Google searchesare not relevant Google searches are dropping because it is no longer a product, it is a component of ArcGIS Server
