[www.Seafloor.org] started while I was working at the [CSUMB] [Seafloor Mapping Lab] in 2002/2003 as a student assistant.

I am interested in the applications of Geographic Information Systems, especially in the area marine sciences.

I am also interested in open source software.

So I decided to combine all of this and build this Seafloor Web site.

You are invited to contribute.

Today it's entirely wiki based. Tomorrow I will probably go back to using [Drupal] to manage the books and documentation and leave the wiki up for less formal interaction.
