Pentium Pro 200 / ISA motherboard in old blue case

Poweroff with this motherboard spins down drive and halts CPU but does not go into powerdown mode. Results in 31 W draw when shutdown.

  • Video card (ISA I think)

70W at boot time
36W quiet time
31W HD spun down

Spinning down hard drive saves 5 watts

Power supply has OFF switch; with the various and sundry network cards installed it burns
