Windows PC

The FlexRadio software only runs on Windows, but they claim it does not take a lot of horsepower. I am thinking a SFF computer would be good, like an Intel NUC for instance.

  • i3 or i5 4 core processor
  • 32GB RAM
  • 128GB M2 SSD

Power management

Some things run on 12VDC, some on 110VAC, what would Bob Bruninga do?

12V

  • FlexRadio
  • Antenna tuner (could be internal)
  • Hat for Pi that does 12V to 5V, RTC, and watchdog timer

110VAC

  • 12VDC supply
  • Windows PC (with its own power supply)
  • Small LCD monitor
  • Remote Power Control strip

Some stuff is already set up, ignore or adopt?

  • POE for UBNT (nominally 11-28VDC I think. Optimally 24V)
  • Etherswitch
  • UPS
