Windows PC
The FlexRadio software only runs on Windows, but they claim it does not take a lot of horsepower. I am thinking a SFF computer would be good, like an Intel NUC for instance.
- i3 or i5 4 core processor
- 32GB RAM
- 128GB M2 SSD
Power management
Some things run on 12VDC, some on 110VAC, what would Bob Bruninga do?
12V
- FlexRadio
- Antenna tuner (could be internal)
- Hat for Pi that does 12V to 5V, RTC, and watchdog timer
110VAC
- 12VDC supply
- Windows PC (with its own power supply)
- Small LCD monitor
- Remote Power Control strip
Some stuff is already set up, ignore or adopt?
- POE for UBNT (nominally 11-28VDC I think. Optimally 24V)
- Etherswitch
- UPS
