Use case: Inventory system
Tag contains a URL
When the server sees the tag comes from a familiar client (ie my phone) it shows a form that I can update. If it's a new tag the form is empty.
When the server sees an unfamiliar client it shows you a page saying the item is lost and asks you to return it. It also allows logging in so that you can add a new client.
