Transmission is the BitTorrent client that I have running on Bellman.

Downloads get put into /green/transmission-downloads.

How do I get a new torrent into Transmission?

There is a web interface, http://bellman:9091/ You open the web page and hand it your new torrent file or URL.

You can see what is being downloaded and seeded there too.

In the web interface you can also PAUSE the Transmission daemon, among other things.

Credentials

The username is "admin" and the password is secret. You can reset it by changing it in the settings.json file. Remove the hash, put in plaintext, restart. Log in.
